In 1985, a group of people had a dream of creating an organization that provided opportunities for local Christian talent to better serve the church and the surrounding West Michigan community through the performing arts.  And over the past 35 years, Master Arts has navigated the many successes and challenges of the calling God laid on the hearts of those original 9 individuals.  Through it all, our mission has remained the same - to positively impact West Michigan artists and audiences through community theater that is wholesome, enlightening and enriching, guided by a Christian world view.  We value quality performances that reach for a high standard of excellence from a Biblical perspective. We seek to build a nurturing, Christ-like community that can love, encourage and disciple the unique personalities of creative people to develop and use their talents with stories that honor God and create a bridge between the artist, the community and the church in ways that can benefit all.  We are celebrating that legacy over the months of November and December by sharing some of the behind-the-scenes stories of people who have become part of the Master Arts family over the years. Below you'll see some of the stories of some of the many people whose lives have been impacted by this theatre.  We encourage you to check them out!

In all honesty, tickets sales alone only cover about 65% of the cost of producing shows and running our little theatre.  So we are asking for your help.  Please prayerfully consider supporting Master Arts this season with a one-time or recurring financial gift.  Master Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so your gift is completely tax deductible. You can use the enclosed action card and envelope to mail your gift, or you can scan the QR code at the bottom of this letter or visit www.masterarts.org to give securely online.  With your support, we can continue offering quality theatre to West Michigan.
